Note: Until further notice landings in the Lumby Valley are only permitted at the Freedom Flight Park for rated H2 and P2 or above flyers with HPAC insurance, unless under direct supervision of a certified instructor and flight school. Advance permission and a signed Lumby Air Force Waiver mandatory for all flights from Coopers Launch and landings at Freedom Flight Park as well.

Jacob Brunning uploaded a four-minute video "Hike and Fly" this week showing some of the spectacular views of West Kelowna he gets while paragliding. Filmed last fall around Trader's Cove above Westside Road and includes footage of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding mountains. Full Story...

They have graciously consented to landing on their property. This LZ is suitable for both HG’s and PG’s With that said they have a a few things that they would like us to keep in mind... |
• Parking is provided at the farm please park as directed.
• Don’t land in the tall grass (this is a hay field) the north side of the field is generally dryer and thinner grass.
• Entrance is through a gate at the south side from the parking lot
• Please use the outhouses near the Saloon. They have children and neighbours.
• This couple also have camping and rentals available on site and they sell farm raised meat and other items lets support them as much as we can!

A new track visualization tool to add to your collection. Doarama is a very sleek and simple way to review and share your flights. It accepts .igc and .gpx file formats which most gps's produce. Simpler to use than Google Earth and smoother, it also has built in social media sharing tools to boot and the ability to use VR glasses. Enjoy!
